Valentine Paper Bunting

February 6, 2013

Today using Martha Stewart Valentine's Crafts. I made a little photo backdrop Valentine's Day bunting decoration for Molly and Eloise. I'll be using this bunting for a little surpise giveaway tomorrow as well. See how I made this easy peasy lemon squeezy bunting below.
Step 1: To get a good variety of papers I used Martha Stewart Crafts Valentine's Themed Designer Paper Pad.
Step 2: Make a pinch in the center of the paper to indicate where the middle is and make a mark there.

Step 3: Make marks in top corners.
Step 4: Using something with a long straight edge connect each of your marks to make a triangle.
Step 5: Cut out triangle. If you want things to go faster try stacking the papers and cutting all at once. Though hold them tight because the bottom layers tend to slip. I recommend no more than three at a time.
Step 6: Next I used Martha Steward glitter eyelash for the string to connect the triangles together. I LOVE the way the glitter eyelash feels and looks. So delicate. Would also be fun to incorporate in a party hat or even a dress.
Step 7: Hot glue string to top edge of triangles.
Step 8: Leave about one inch of space between.
Step 9: Leave about 8" of string on the ends and cut. Done! Hang and enjoy!
