Sweater Embellishment: Ribbon Shoulders

October 11, 2012

Try this. Take an old sweater. Cut a slit in along the shoulder down about 7". Fold over raw edge and sew in place. Sew a piece of ribbon about 15" long to one side of neckline and another ribbon to the other side of the neckline. Tie together! Photo via Love Taobao.

Kathleen Frances, This is so pretty---especially with the pink and black, that I'd BUY a new sweater to do it!

Absolutely love this idea. Will be trying it out to recycle some old sweaters of mine. Looks adorable and not too difficult!
